APRIL - ANNUAL RIB FEED – sponsored by the Butte Valley Fire Protection District at Macdoel Fire Hall.

MAY - ANNUAL DORRIS SPRUCE UP – Includes yard sales, trash & metal dumpsters, local art vendors at City Hall Park.

MAY - ABALONE FEED – sponsored by Dorris Lion’s Club.

4th of JULY - ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY FLAG RAISING AT AMERICA’S TALLEST FLAGPOLE IN DORRIS – Event complete with parade, flag raising ceremony, barbeque & auction.

SEPTEMBER - TULELAKE-BUTTE VALLEY FAIR – This event is goes from Wed thru Sunday usually the week after Labor Day.

SEPTEMBER - FRONTIER DAYS sponsored by the Dorris Lions Club – This 2 day event includes equestrian events for the entire family, local vendors & food booths at the Community Center at the base of Dorris Hill.

NOVEMBER: BIRDS OF PREY TOUR sponsored by Butte Valley Friends of the Library, Saturday, November 19th, 2011, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Meet at the Butte Valley Library, 800 West Third Street in Dorris, CA, $15 donation requested, 100% of all donations will support our local library

DECEMBER - DORRIS CHRISTMAS PARADE & PAGAENT – sponsored by City of Dorris; this event is usually held the 2nd week in December.
