City of Dorris Services Building Permits - Contact the City Hall Office at 397-3511 to make an appointment with the Building Inspector for building permits, fence permits, remodeling, demolition and any zone changes. Business License - $40.00 a year (Good for July 1 through June 30). Burning Permit - $5.00 Per Burning Season. Dog License - $7.50 for Spayed or Neutered (Due by June 30th-If Late the Fee Doubles) $12.50 if Animal is not Spayed or Neutered. Proof of current rabies vaccination and proof of Spay or Neuter is required at time of Dog License Purchase. City Hall Rental - $10 an hour. Cleaning/Security Deposit is required. Some events may require insurance. The City does have Special Event Insurance available that can be purchased by the Renter. Van Use - Contingent upon availability-Disabled and Seniors have priority for use. Proof of License and Insurance is Required. CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Loans - Contact City Hall Office for an appointment with Loan Officer. EDBG Business Loans - Contact City Hall Office for an appointment with Loan Officer. Water Sewer Garbage - Application Forms must be filed with City Hall before Service is permitted. Applications are available from the City Hall Office.
