BUTTE VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Goals for 2011/2012

Primary Goal:

Contribute to a business environment that enhances Butte Valley Chamber member businesses and the general health of the surrounding community.

Secondary Goals:

Raise the business profiles of all Chamber members within the surrounding communities and with their potential customers.

Provide interested parties with the positive attributes of Butte Valley as a place to live and work.

Create a portal of information exchange for Chamber members and the business community at large.

Provide useful information to Chamber members that affect their businesses.

Network with other civic and business organizations to improve and enhance Chamber member businesses.

Create a sustainable membership body that provides long term vision to the business health and development of the Butte Valley community.

BUTTE VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Targets for 2011

1) Complete the remake of the Chamber’s website

2) Maintain Chamber membership at a minimum 90% of 2010 levels.

3) Increase net financial condition of the Chamber by $1000 minimum.

4) Update Chamber Directory and republish.

5) Update/add at least 3 public bulletin boards for use by Chamber members to reach their customers.

6) Update Chamber’s highway signage, welcoming travelers into our community.

7) Complete a successful July 4th fundraiser.

8) Add at least one more fundraiser to the Chamber’s annual efforts.

9) Hold at least 3 informational workshops for Chamber members.

10) Survey Chamber membership; assessing Chamber’s performance for the needs of its membership.
